Browse a feed scoped to your actual area, as a list or a map. Claim a task, sort out the details in chat, mark it done.

Need a plumber or a piano teacher? Ask your neighbors. Their answers build a shared directory with vouch counts.

Built to feel safe
Every task, comment, recommendation and message can be reported from the content itself, not from a profile page buried somewhere. Comments, recommendations and a task's own screen carry a flag button; cards in the feed and messages in a conversation are reported by pressing and holding them. Blocking sits in the … menu next to a neighbor's name, and is offered in the same step as reporting.
Blocking works in both directions and takes effect immediately. Their posts, comments, answers and messages disappear from your app, yours disappear from theirs, and neither of you can message the other. You can undo it any time from Profile → Blocked Users.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Reported content is hidden immediately and reviewed within 24 hours.
Your location stays yours
Good Neighbor never stores your device's location. If you grant location permission, we take one reading at setup to fill in your city and county so the feed can show you what is actually nearby — the reading itself is not kept, and you can skip it and type your area instead. Task pins come from the address you type when you post, so you decide how precise to be.
